Good intensity on the nose, just lacking a little definition with hints of black coffee. Quite elegant and a nice focus. The palate is medium-bodied, fine chewy tannins, good vigour, a ripe brightness about  this wine with joyous blackberry and blueberry fruit towards the finish. Excellent. Drink 2011-2020. Tasted September 2008.
