"The 2016 Bourgogne Blanc was cropped at 11 hectoliters per hectare and was overtly tropical on the nose, and that also comes through on the palate, which is rounded in texture with brioche and hazelnut notes and lemon curd on the finish. It just needs more tension and strictness; it needs to be more bound together by the acidity that is in absentia. I will reserve any judgment for now."
