Robert Parker
Tasted: 01/11/2010
Drink:

Tasted at the Armand Rousseau tasting at Roberson's in London. A startling bouquet quite gamey and savoury, a hint of hickory and soy, dark berried fruit with hints of Provencal herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with beautiful, silky tannins, amazing focus and even though it does not have the complexity of say the 1996 or 2005 on the finish, it has a beguiling symmetry that is irresistible. I would not leave this, just a hint of dryness on the finish, but what a lovely wine. Tasted November 2010.
