This wine sees plenty of French oak and is structured, with high levels of extract as well as tannin. It is built for 15-20 years of cellaring. The 1996 Command Shiraz is a big, full, powerful offering. A muscular, powerful wine, it requires another 1-2 years of cellaring, given its robust personality. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2018.
